Why Nights by Fire?

Every so often we get an opportunity to feel into the true essence of who we really are. Myth and storytelling are the sacred maps that exist outside of space and time, forming roads and pathways to serve as the wisdom our lived experiences connect us to.  

When we gather around fire, to share these stories with each other, we step into what is known as sacred time, just as our ancestors once did, the remembering now passed from person to person, preserved forever more.

Your Invitation:

Nights by Fire is your Invitation to explore your life's journey through story, sacred ceremony and wild wisdom.

Your guides, Monica Rosenfeld, Co-Founder of @StoriesthatStir and Kat Sforcina, Founder of @WildTribes have joined forces to breathe into being a deep immersion designed to help you craft and express your raw and personal story for impact, purpose and healing.

What Happens at Nights by Fire? 

Over the course of the 2nights/3days program you will be invited to engage in various workshops, group and 1-on-1 processes, led by Kat and Monica, designed to help you craft your story and move beyond that which holds you back from confidently expressing it.

The above will culminate in an invitation (not compulsory) to share your story around our sacred fire.

This process will be supported by a range of the following activities and modalities, the selection of which will be based on the individual and collective needs of the group in real-time:

 - deep nature-based connection

- mindfulness

- breathwork

- yoga

- movement and somatic release

- cold water immersion

- journalling

- nervous regulation

- natural fibre weaving

- art therapy and more ...

Through this process you will learn how to...

- Connect with the empowered medicine of your life's journey and express it for impact, purpose and healing.

 - Overcome your fears, self-limiting beliefs and patterns that prevent you from giving yourself permission to take up space as the storyteller

 - Hold space for others 

- Participate in a sacred ceremony, to mark the beginning of your journey as a storyteller and the threshold crossing to move into the most empowered version of your story yet. 

What is included?

- Full Nights by Fire program held over 2 nights / 3 days including all workshops, teachings, group processes, 1-on-1 support and more

- Delicious Slow meals (2 x dinner, 1 x lunch, 2 x breakfast, 1 x morning and afternoon tea) prepared in the warmth of the village hum via our unique and fun collaborative cooking experiences.

- 2 nights accommodation in your choice of a tiny home for couples (only one available on the grounds so be quick!), stunning shared accommodation (2-4 persons per room) or an authentic BYO camping experience on the grounds of the retreat centre.

- Wherever possible, we are honoured to be joined by the  Indigenous Elders from the region to share in their wisdom and ancient ways and celebrate connection to country through ceremony with us.

Where is it Held?

1.5hours north of Sydney, NSW, Set in a stunning private mountain retreat surrounded by breathtaking bushland on Awabakal country. This property provides a gorgeous balance of manicured gardens and 10 lush acres of virgin Australian bush guaranteed to transport you to another time and place entirely.

Can I bring my children?

This is an 18+years event. In future, Nights by Fire plans to offer a family-friendly versions of our program, please contact us to express your interest in such.
