WANDERING | Weaving | Wisdon-making | (re)wILDING
"I just came back from spending 6 days nestled in the Warrumbungle Mountains in a circle of strong and beautiful women sharing knowledge, love, wisdom and humour. We spent our time weaving, sharing delicious food and thoughts around the campfire and enjoying hikes through the mountain range.
We held space for each other and experienced beautiful healing and connection. Wild Tribes She: WILD was a wholesome and beautiful experience that left us feeling connected to our ancient womanhood and the land we walked on.
I want to thank Kat for the lovely, safe and empowering space she created out there and for sharing her wisdom and laughter with us. I couldn't recommend Wild Tribes enough.
We will be back!!"

"The She: WILD program was such a special experience in the most beautiful place surrounded by mountains. It made me feel so much joy and connection to the women and the land.
Kat has so much wisdom and helped me make deep realizations about the way I see the world and I'm so grateful for the beautiful, peaceful space she creates. I can't wait to come to another program! Thank you so much!"

ANSWERING THE CALL TO ADVENTURE!
What is She:Wild?
It's not just a journey; it's a sanctuary for women seeking solace in nature and deeper connection to the wisdom of the collective feminine.

Camp under the stars, wander winding trails, and let the rhythm of weaving threads mirror the weaving of a new rhythm for your heart.
Imagine a 6-day immersion where the backdrop is stunning mountain ranges and starry skies that go forever.

By day we explore the beauty of the natural landscapes; hiking/sight seeing on the many trails in the Warrumbungle Mountain Range whilst being introduced to ancient practices designed to help you connect with yourself and the natural world on a profound level.
Each morning offers a choice:
-
Ease in slowly with a hot drink in hand, surrounded by the hum of women gathered at the campfire.
-
Or rise with intention, joining us for gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness as we welcome the day together.
After breakfast, the rest of our days are spent enjoying an itinerary similar to this sample one below. However, each SHE:WILD itinerary is unique in that we remain flexible, ensuring our hiking adventures always cater for every fitness and comfort level in the group (we never leave a sista behind!) as well as any surprises mother nature brings our way :)

What happens WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN?
As the sun sets, the real magic begins. Evenings are spent around the campfire, sharing laughter, stories, and wisdom. Together, we explore ancient bushcraft skills like natural fiber weaving, fire-making, and creating sacred spaces for deep witnessing and connection.

When possible, Indigenous Elders join us to welcome you to Country, share stories passed down through generations, and teach ceremonial dances that call forth the energy of the land.

Who is She:Wild For?
For you—a woman, navigating the complexities of life, seeking a soft place to land, genuine connections, whilst feeling ready to embrace the divine, courageous, wild places within.

She:Wild offers a space to honor where you’ve been and where you’re going.

A little about the lands we will be hiking & camping on
Nestled in Central NSW (5.5 hours west of Sydney, 4hrs west of Newcastle) is a secluded 2,500-acre privately held bushland property that is backed by the Warrumbungles national park on three sides.

Here, we find ourselves at the intersection of three Indigenous language groups: Wayilwan, Gamilaraay, and Wiradjuri.
We camp, on this privately held property, at the base of the highest peak of the Warrumbungles,
Apu (mountain) Exmouth, whilch also happens to be in the middle of the southern hemisphere’s only national sky park. Apu Wombolong and "Monkey Rock" also tower over the camp area and are the breeding grounds for the Wedge Tailed Eagles in the area, so we often get the incredible opportunity to see them take to the skies during our visits.
Having been given permission from the indigenous elders of these lands, the spirit of the lands, as well as the custodians of the privately held property to run SHE:Wild, Vision Quest and nature connection programs here, these lands offer our guests welcoming, stunning natural beauty by day and awe-inspiring stargazing by night.
You have to experience it to believe it, but this country is pure medicine. Truly one of the most magical, connected places we feel you could ever camp on in the southern hemisphere. And this is no exaggeration.

We seek to maintain deep connection with the Ancestors and indigenous traditions of this region and welcome the Elders to join us whenever their schedules allow them to do so.

"I was feeling stuck and often really flat, despite having so much to be grateful for. I have plenty of mindset tools, but this time I just couldn’t get out from under a black cloud. I booked in for one of Kat’s programs. It was phenomenal. I’m not exaggerating when I say I feel like a new person - at the very least a clearer, lighter version of myself. I just feel more connected to ME. I highly recommend Kat for her skill, intuitive wisdom and love."

Yes, at least a base level of fitness and appropriate footwear is required to participate in this program. If you can complete the equivalent of the spit to manly walk in Sydney, Australia, (11km walk with intermittant steep sections and stairs) then you would have more than sufficient fitness to attend this program. Additionally, we will be walking to the pace of the majority of the group in order to keep the group together. We also have alternative activities available should the collective's muscles or feet be too sore from any previous day of hiking.
The intention for this program is NOT to be a fitness camp or grand hiking challenge with deadlines and destinations in mind but rather an opportunity to use hiking and the other planned activities and nature-based processes as a way to find stillness, a pathway back to our remembering and to explore a deeper sense of connection with the lands. In such environments, you meet different parts of who you are and a greater sense of joy, among many other things, unfolds. This is the magic and the medicine we set our intention upon for this program and know you will love the journey.
